100 Reasons
So yet again, another post about how long it has been since my last post. I could probably give about a 100 reasons but why bother...better to just start blogging again, right?
The photo above was from my attempt to make cupcakes for the 100th day of kindergarten! They were not too pretty BUT they were pretty tasty! =)
Can not believe I have survived a 100 days of Jake going to high school, Andrew going to junior high, Natalie going to kindergarten, and my Baby Benny at preschool!!
What a whirlwind of a year it has been.

Kindergarten Goes To the Farm
I think I got to chaperone one of the nicest kindergarten classes! They were all so well behaved!
Love the pumpkin with the hat on the end. =)
Some pretty fearless creatures.
Natalie with Michael. Michael, is the younger brother to Isaac on of Andrew's favorite friends.
This chicken in the background makes it look like she has wings!

Hanging Around at the Church Family Picnic
Much of our time is spent running our "big boys" to all kinds of sports and other events. However, there are times when they need to hang out with the little people. Needless to say sometimes they are flat out bored. These pictures are of Andrew keeping himself busy while we were at the church family picnic. My friends kept cracking up at him.
Notice just the feet sticking out at the top of the slide?
Mom, I still fit on the slide. Don't worry. =)
My crazy, silly Andrew. Love that boy!
This is how Jake keeps busy...by steeling my iphone and playing angry birds.
I think I like Andrew's method better. =)

Earrings!
For the longest time now Natalie has been BEGGING to have her ears pierced. We did just about everything to persuade her not to but she kept asking, and asking. Neither Mike or I had a problem with it. I just felt she should wait until she was older (I was ten) so she could take care of them herself. However, Natalie is SUPER responsible that way. Plus, I starterd to fear she was going to spend all of kindergarten dreaming up ways of getting her ears pierced! So one Sunday right before her sixth birthday we went to have them done. All three brothers and dad had to come not only to supervise the process, but to select the proper earrings. =)
Her ear before the earring goes in.
Her telling us and the ladies she is READY.
And after! She was thrilled (and still is)!!!!!!!!! She never even flinched. Sometimes she just amazes me. Notice the earrings she chose? Gold little princess crowns. Quite fitting as she is our only little princess. Andrew had his eye on a pair of cute pink earrings for her but she wanted the crowns....Andrew keeps saying we will get her those for Christmas. =)
A Double Homecoming
A couple of weeks ago Ben had surgery to remove his adenoids and tonsils. It wasn't the smoothest surgery he has had. He came home on a Saturday and that night was homecoming for Jake! For his last formal dance I took about 900 pictures (no exaggeration) and never blogged them as I couldn't weed them down to my favorites. Homecoming was a little different this year. First, it wasn't as formal and second, I was too tired to stand let alone hold the camera for more than a minute. But here are a few (not so good pictures) of that night.
My boy is growing way too fast and I felt pretty depressed when he left.
But Andrew kept me company! =)
