December…Random Postings

 

For us Cronauer’s December brings a trip over to Silverside Road to see the guy with all the lights on his house.  The little kids marveled and the big kids wondered how high his electricity bill was…goes to show they hear dad hollaring about turning off lights, or that they are just growing up.  =(

I love how my kids always split up. They always seem to naturally take on the buddy system with Ben gravitating to Andrew and Natalie over with Jake (notice Jake had shorts on as we had just left a wrestling match). 

Ben was in awe.  He was still…that speaks volumes!

Ok, see this tree?  Beautiful, eh?  Well, here is a Natalie ism for you…we sat down at the Christmas Cantata and she says very loudly, “Wow! That tree is gorgeous…just like me!!!”  The boys immediately look at me and Mike and proclaim she is getting a big head.  Ah, I disagree with her big brothers it’s better to start out in life with a full tank of self-esteem.

And Andrew of course better think she is pretty darn cute because, um, there is just a tad bit of similarity between the two don’t you think???!!!???  =)

 

And for those of you waiting on a Christmas card from the Cronauer’s…trust me we are still working on it!

And of course one of the best parts of December has been hanging out with my best friend who now lives in my hometown.   These pictures are ridiculous.   But almost a year ago when she was pregnant we laughed at this one ladies blog who is a photographer and has seven kids.   This blogger lady had about 800 photos of her last baby in bowls.  We believe maybe the 7th pushed her over the cooko’s nest but at any rate we laughed the other day, saying we missed our photo op with Tristan as he has gotten so big so fast!  But we did it anyway just to be funny!

 

I don’t think he thought it was too funny!

But then of course jealous bones Ben had to get up there and try out whatever Tristan got to do.

 

And then jealous bones Natalie had to show us she can still do whatever Ben can do!

At any rate, anytime spent with Auntie Lauren results in a good laugh.

 

And speaking of “aunties….”   Aunt Carol (Kern) if you are reading this.  I think Ben looks so much like you in this picture!  =)
