Can’t we JUST take your picture?

 IMG_3657

There is a reason as to why I love the above shot so MUCH!!!! {And therefore keep finding excuses to repost it on my blog}.  All year I tried to take their picture sometimes failing miserably….

Sometimes getting a few of them to look at me!

But never for them to all look happy at once…

Or even calm.  =)  The above shots were just a FEW of unsuccessful attempts that add up to a collection of funny photo flops of my fabulous four!  …Say that five times fast!

So therefore I resort to being one of those crazy housewives with too much time on their hands who photograph their dog…..

I love that you take pictures of the dog! Our dogs are still hanging in, thought we lost them but were just hiding in the closet. We had made signs and everything then heard this bark... and there they were. The door had automatically shut behind them, they were sniffing out their christmas bones, also got a few of the kids chocolate stocking stuffers. I had told the neighbors to watch out for them, did I feel like a fool. Carol

Carol!!!! That is crazy! Your new house must be HUGE! Or did this happen at your house on the bay?!? How long did you think were missing?

I went to work after lunch, leaving the dogs outside. The kids came home after school and left the gate open. I came home at 5:15, the house was silent. The gate was open so we immediate thought the dogs got loose which they do at least once a week. We jumped in the car and searched our neighborhood, which isn't large and the dogs usually stay close. I really thought our bad neighbor called the dog catcher. Meagan was on the computer making signs. All this time, no sound from the walkin closet downstairs where the dogs were. I guess it was around 7:30 that we finally heard a little woof. I was so happy to find them. Carol

Carol, I am so sorry but this gave Mike and I a good laugh! Thanks for telling us this story! Too funny!!!!!!

Love, Love, Love having comments! Glad to see you have no trouble with it. Your mom still has a hard time and a few other friends usually just shoot me an email or a message on facebook about a post as they say the blog won't "take" the comment they post? Any insight?
