We played on our back porch as it was finally sunny and warm enough! (I think she was praying for her baby’s meal).
We stayed in our pjs till pretty late in the day. We had NOWHERE to go yesterday (this is a good thing). They played so nicely with one another!
Ben is lifting Natalie’s favorite doll from the crib. I love how he tried so hard to be “gentle” and I love how she allows him to play but hovers over him just ‘in case.’
Today we have his appointment with the hearing doctor!!!! But I tried not to think about that yesterday.
Here he is after eating his “nana” and asking for his hands to be washed.
OK, demanding to wash his hands. He uses our chairs as vehicles of transportation to get into and do whatever he wants. Hence why we no longer have any kitchen chairs out! Nothing is off limits to him if he can get up on the counters and this is not a good thing! =)
I love getting a peak at those chubby arms as he works to pull up his sleeves.
Next, we colored with markers and crayons.
Natalie and I have started working on a phonics book together. It’s a program that is new to me so I backtracked and read up on it a little more today.
Then of course they just ran around and played (i.e. trashed the house).
I really loved yesterday morning.
I think Ben did too.
These are the days at home I hope to always remember!

This SO brings back memories. Sometimes I have to poat a comment a couple of times before it goes through. I know Mom is hating having her computer broken. Maybe when she get a new one she'll be able to post.
Oh, can your kids call Jay? It is his 15th birthday today. Or just you and Mike.
Thanks for calling! Jay had a big smile on his face. That meant a lot to hear from his cousins. Being so far away SUCKS!
