The beginning of March was rough. Ben had a terrible head cold that resulted in more ear infections and more antibiotics. We stayed in for what felt like a week straight! During this time I moved my desk upstairs and made the back half of our basement into a larger play area.
Ben has really started engaging in a lot of imaginary play. It’s so much fun to watch.
Ben and Natalie set up little towns on a play rug in our basement and then he likes to have his dog come crash the village. He loves this dog! It’s funny, that is actually a beagle that Jacob stuffed many years ago at Build A Bear. Ben has taken a liking to it and drags it all over the house these days.
Or keeps it right by his side.
Or takes it for a ride in his shopping cart. I love our basement playroom. It allows them space to be creative in their play…and it is completely Benny proof!
