Family Fusion

Our church started a new program called Family Fusion.  To kick it off we had a big bash at our church.  It was great as it coincided with the opening of the church after our 18 month long renovation.

Somehow Heather Wilson and I were put in charge of the scarecrow making.  Enough said, scary situation.  The only thing Heather and I are good at doing together is having fun…don’t remember ever hanging with her and not giggling!  We are both craft challenged.  Thanks to the help of these ladies and Jane Gerlach, the night was a success and many went home with a life-sized scarecrow.

And “cookies” showed up as Dorothy!  Of course Natalie was thrilled to see Mrs. Ackley in costume!

The scarecrow parking garage.  We made the kids leave there finished product outside.  All we needed was a brand new church flooded with hay on its opening day.  =)
