Meeting Mr. Frog Legs...Another Adventure on Spring Break

Hugging a Pink tree....her favorite of all trees.

On another day during our spring break we loaded the van up with fishing poles and headed to our favorite state park.  Natalie enjoyed the spring display of pink trees.  Ben enjoyed bumping into friends from church at the slides.  The big boys enjoyed FISHING.  Yet, on this day the only thing they caught was a frog, and one VERY big one at that!

A VERY large frog!

If you read my last post, notice Ben has his hands in the interesting but creepy pose again.

And I love the shot above because Natalie quickly lost the novelty of the new found frog and eagerly wanted to know what the new girl standing next to her was named.  I love how friendly she is with other children her age!  NEVER shy.

His legs were so long!  And at this point in the break Mike was in Missisippi on a business trip and Jake said, hmmm wonder if dad is eating frog legs down south (of course knowing Mike then you would know he wasn't).

Crazy Jake!

And then next thing you know the sky opened up and it rained down on us until we ran to the van for cover....of course the big boys stayed and fished in the rain....loving it even more!
