A clip from one of my favorite blogs...

Today I was reading from one of my favorite blogs: The Inspired Room (see my lists on the right for a link). Here is a point that Melissa made on creating your dreams, "What kind of escape do you long for? A day of no interruption for reading? A day at the spa? A relaxing day on the coast or a night at a bed and breakfast? Well what are you waiting for?! If you can’t make those dreams a reality, recreate them as best you can. Life is too short to miss out on what you want out of it. You can make beautiful things happen on a shoestring budget with a little planning, creativity and imagination. Start planning something lovely for yourself. Yes, it takes time. That is the point. Spend time creating a beautiful life instead of wasting it on things that actually drain your energy."
On May 16th I will be completing a dream I have had for over a decade. I will finally be getting my college degree. If all goes well the rest of this semester I can say I went back with four kids and got a 4.0. I am accomplishing my goal. Before moving onto my next goal I hope to spend one day totally to myself. Not too long ago during a leadership meeting for MOPS I was asked what would be your perfect day? I replied a day at the beach with a book. After reading Melissa's post today I am thinking I need to make that dream a reality. So to all of my friends reading this who need to take a "Mommy Personal Day." Let's pick a date....before we know it summer will be here! As we go through these next muddy and often cloudy days of spring we will have a relaxing day to look forward to.......SO WHO IS IN?

Also, I can't say it LOUD enough or EXCITED enough over the Blog, but HATS OFF to you, my dear friend, for completing (almost there counts) this goal of yours. You have MUCH to be proud of because of this accomplishment. It will be something that your children now and years ahead will admire you for!!! You are a SUPER person!!!
