Sweet Baby Ava

I know God holds us all in the palm of his hand. He has a story for each of our lives. I am praying so much for this baby girl and her wonderful family. Lord, I want to know this little girl. I want to watch her run through the halls of my church.

Ava is sick tonight. I don’t have many words right now. The Benton’s lost their son years ago to a mitochondrial disease. Ava is suffering with seizures and has been admitted to AI Dupont’s PICU. To read more about her story go to the Benton's blog.

Tonight I pray that the only thing Ava’s suffers from a year from now is her profound hearing loss. I pray that Ava is bugging her entire wonderful family next year at the Thanksgiving table while she runs around stirring up trouble with her sisters and cousin.

I am praying and loving God for allowing me to know this entire wonderful family. Good night sweet baby, Ava. May we wake up tomorrow morning to hear wonderful news about how well you are recovering and playing with your little stuffed animal.
