This Blog Turns One!

1stbirthdaycake

Today marks a year of blogging!  One year later I am still at it!

“It isn’t the big pleasures that count the most; it is making a great deal out of the little ones.”  (Unknown)

I am thankful that the blog allows the little joys at home to be recorded and even on our worst days it gives me the opportunity to find one thing that I don’t want to forget years from now.

I read somewhere recently that God gives us the grace to live today.  He hasn’t given us tomorrow’s grace and therefore we shouldn’t worry about it. (Not always an easy task for me).  By an act of your will, we should choose to start enjoying our lives.  There are many days that are just plain old ugly around here.  But blogging the little moments of good is my way of trying to be in the moment and recognize the joy God has given me today and be thankful.

It’s also been a digital scrapbook, a place to organize and record my small steps to better photography, and of course a chance for our family members who live further away to sneak a peek at what’s going on with the kids.

So here’s to one year of blogging!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being one of those family members that are far away, I say thank you. I love seeing the kids and hearing your humor. Focusing on the good is a mind set we all need to cultivate, I know I do!
