Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall is where we met dad most days during lunch or after his conference was over.
The kids loved the street performers!
We walked by the water. Yes, Ben is missing I was afraid to let him out of the stroller as it was hot and that boy of mine has no fear and would just jump in!
Then we walked the Commons. I was amazed at how close the wildlife got to us, unnervingly friendly. It made me take pictures of them; which embarrassed the boys. They thought the locals would think I was crazy or that I lived in some crazy place baron of common creatures like squirrels. =)It was steamy!
It put the little people to sleep!
The scenery was beautiful and this guys music made the it even more fun!
This swan was MEAN! He kept picking on this little duck family…
Beautiful but nasty little creature!
Then the kids woke up!
And when they woke up Natalie had to use the bathroom. The only thing close by was the Four Seasons Hotel. Natalie loved the bathroom there. She said it was like Fancy Nancy’s bathroom and insisted I take her picture.
Then she needed me to take her picture on the beautiful stairwell.
And then in front of the “beautifully decorated table.” But I had visions of her accidently knocking one vase over and it becoming a domino effect.
And the big boys would have been really embarrassed then!
Natalie thank you for your spontaneous spirit that makes little things like going to the bathroom and exciting and fun adventure!
This was his face when we told him WE were going to ride on the swan boats!
They loved every second of it! It was the best $1.75 I have ever spent on a ride!
Then back to the hotel for a little rest before daddy got home!
Then we decided when dad got home we had to escape the city for just a bit! And hit our old stomping grounds Singing Beach.
Singing Beach is where Mike and I came when we were dating. It was fun to bring the kids back there.
And of course you can’t go to Singing Beach without going to Denny’s after! It’s tradition!
