Goodbye Summer

 

Well, it’s been a while since my last post.  I’d love to jump to all the stuff we have been doing lately and post that.   However,  if I did some of these photos may never see the light of day. 

One weekend before school started we took our last trip to the beach.  Jake had other plans {sniff sniff} so it was me and Mike and the younger three.

Natalie loves the beach and I love to watch her run in the sun!  Check out her muscular legs.  She is going to be one awesome field hockey player I mean athlete one day.  {No pressure Natalie}.  =)

 

 

   Andrew was a good big brother and carried bucket after bucket of water to the little kids.

 

Some days I wonder if she will also be a cross country runner like her daddy.

 

Sea air makes my hair gross…hers gets even prettier!

Ben wanted to ride this ride so badly.

But then I thought he changed his mind.

I almost had them stop the ride but this nice old lady next to me said don’t.  That I should snap his picture so he can laugh at it later.

He suffered through…

and then started to like it!

but then I don’t think Natalie was liking it too much at that point. 

Andrew is always such a good big brother and suffered through some of the little kid rides to make sure they were safe.

 

Andrew was also brave and rode rides by himself!  {Rides that Mike and I are no longer brave enough for.}

 

 

 

 

It’s hard to say goodbye to the rides.  But two seconds later he calms down when he gets on the new ride. 

 

 

This was a great last trip to the beach!
