One day before the start of school we packed up and headed to Longwood. The weather was perfect and the kids were enthralled with a little pond that we had never sat by before. They found all kinds of snails (big and small), frogs, and fish. They loved just sitting by the water finding things to look at. I enjoyed watching them and when I look back at the pictures I think this day will last in my memory forever. I know when we return to Longwood on a day like this summer each of the kids will be another year older. I am glad to have just soaked them in as they were on that day.

I love Ben’s arms in this photo. It’s as if his body is saying, “Wow! Look at this hill…what are we waiting for!”
Jake was shouting, “Come on, Ben! You can do it!” =) 
My favorite part of this picture is his untied shoe! Typical Andrew! =)
It was a great day and I will cherish the memory of it forever! I love these guys so much.
