First we carved our pumpkins and made a crock-pot full of chili.
And then we got ready to trick or treat! Natalie was tinker bell, Ben was captain hook, Andrew was a shadow, and Jake was a football player.
This year we had some new friends join us. Kira from Natalie’s preschool and her mom and dad! It was such a treat to have them walk with us. =)
This year the big boys met up with their friends and went without us. Ben I’m sure would have much preferred to go with the “guys” as he calls them. But Jake and Andrew had a strategy and nothing was slowing them down.
So I got my little cutie all to myself. I wanted to just gobble him up in this costume. He looked so handsome!
Even Natalie adored how her little brother looked!
And then we were off!
To see the wizard…
or at least our friendly neighbors. =)
Ben properly thanked everyone and made sure to tell them goodbye.
He wasn’t so sure about some of the Halloween decorations. But luckily we didn’t encounter anything too scary.
These girls had such a good time and were so sweet with one another!
Ben cracked us up at one point because he refused to put the candy in his bag and carried fists full with him for quite awhile before he gave in and emptied his treasure in the bag.
Then back at home to see what they collected.
