A Night To Celebrate!!!!!

Surprise, surprise! Thursday was Melissa's birthday. Matt called and said he was taking her out to celebrate Friday night at the Phillies game but before they left how about we surprise her by meeting them at Washington St. Ale house. We lucked out and got a sitter, Mike came home a little early from work and we headed out! Matt made reservations at a cute little table by the window and we waited for them to drive up...somehow she spotted us from the car! I will never forget her face she said to Matt, "Look in the window! The Cronauer's are here too?!?!?"

Matt and Melissa are great friends of ours. I love how fun-spirited they are and how they encourage us to get out and have fun! We were excited to get celebrate her birthday with them.

Mike and I later celebrated the fact that this was the first weekend that he was not working for the News Journal. After dinner he and I headed to a movie and saw the "Proposal." We had such a great night!!!!!

Melissa you are such a fabulous friend. I am so thankful that we were put in the same MOPS group a few years ago! I am also so thankful that are kids enjoy playing together too! We love your whole family and look forward to more fun times together! P.S. The kids just saw the photo of your double chocolate cake...good thing they don't know we kept it for you!
