Last night we attended Scott’s going away party. The Herkimer’s have been our friends for years. We have celebrated many of Thanksgiving and Christmas meals together. Elise and Jake have known each other since their four year old preschool program. They went on to be in the same class in kindergarten and first grade. This year I dropped them off at junior high. We have been blessed by their friendship and will miss Scott as he heads on this new adventure with DuPont in England, where he will open up a new plant.
We are sad to see him go but hope this may mean more girls nights in the future. =)
And of course more time with Sam. Sam, you crack me up. This guy has amazing concentration! There were 50 or more people in the house but he kept right on with his puzzle of Venice. =)
So when it came time to get a picture of the four Herkimer’s they went to Sam.
He smiled and went right back to his Venice! Sam you are too funny!
We love you guys and wish you all the best Scott, as you make this next transition in your career.
