Belong To Me

So last night I finished this book. It was called Belong To Me. I picked it up at Target one day when in a rush to find reading material before the worlds longest swim meet. {Any guesses what team? If you answered Silverside than pat yourself on the back}. Oddly, something attracted me to this book. It wasn't the blurb on the back, maybe it was the cover? I thought am I really that shallow of a reader?

But when I sat down at the swim meet I realized the author was from my hometown! Her kids go to school a few miles from my house. Heck, she probably even shops at my Target. Could she be sitting in this very crowd? Too weird! So anyhow, I started the book and then left it behind on vacation as I needed to delve into the latest Jodi Picoult, and then of course there was the memoir Glass Castle that I was urged to read. So as the insomnia/lack of sleep at night due to incision pain set in this last week I picked Belong To Me back up and finished it off. I don't want to talk to much about it in case anyone is interested in reading it...But so curious if anyone has read it?
