Less than one week to go!

Ben, at midnight tonight it will be one week until I can lift you again!  We have made it five weeks! 

I know you are pretty upset with me and I have been pretty upset each time you ask me to hold you and I have had to turn you down.  First the weaning and now this! 

But we have got only one more  week to go! I can’t wait to take your chubby little fists and help you with your attempts at walking, and lift you out of precarious positions! 

I imagine it will be pretty painful at first as it still hurts to lift (yesterday you weighed in at 3o pounds) but it won’t hurt nearly as much to not hold you close!
